Prior to joining Checkbook, Eric worked at RedPath Integrated Pathology (now part of Interpace Diagnostics), a cancer diagnostics company that combines molecular testing with human pathologist review to assess tumors for their risk of cancer. He is responsible for major initiatives in Checkbook’s health-related consumer tools, including health plan decision support tools on public and private health insurance exchanges, physician evaluation, and drug formulary evaluation, and researching consumer experience with choosing health plans and providers.Įric represents Checkbook/CSS in numerous health policy fora, where he advocates for simplification of consumer experience in healthcare via transparency, data standards and other policy measures that empower consumers and reduce barriers to making informed choices in healthcare.
